The Organic Skin Co. proved to be not only luxurious, but rightfully boasts being a vegan, cruelty-free brand made with ethically sourced ingredients.
While glamping at Fireside Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I packed The Organic Skin Co.’s skincare line. These products proved to not only be luxurious, but rightfully boast being a vegan, cruelty-free brand made with ethically sourced ingredients—the perfect combination for any proper glamping trip.
My mornings in Jackson Hole began with Nitty Gritty: Almond Seed Exfoliant, which, like every product by this line, is light, refreshing, and smells absolutely delicious. This exfoliant is also perfect for the dryness of high altitude skin, as just the right amount of coarseness is infused in the recipe. Followed by The Good Oil: Honeysuckle and Turmeric Face Oil (please don’t make me, but if I was forced to choose only one product from Organic Skin Co., this would be it!), which is, well… “really is the good oil.”
Post hike in the Grand Tetons calls for Clean Slate: Holy Basil Cleaner—guaranteed to quickly unveil clean and refreshed skin. Then Primp N’ Prime for a night out in downtown Jackson. Not only does this primer create a smooth canvas for flawless makeup application, it is rich in antioxidants, restorative oils, and revitalizing supercritical extracts. Again… the fragrances of both products are lovey, and seemingly compliment the other perfectly.
Returning home to my tiny luxury house at Fireside Resort, it was time enjoy a private campfire, some wine, and stargaze the evening away. A campfire is a must for any glamping experience, but, admittedly, can be drying on the skin. No worries though, as I had The Organic Skin Co.’s Task Force Nine: Calendula and Turmeric Cream. This multi-tasking cream is infused with nine active ingredients that promote moisturizing, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties, and is ideal for use after a night in front of a glamping campfire.
The Organic Skin Co. also offers two wonderfully unique moisturizers. Daily Rituals: Orange and Rosehip Moisturizer is designed to “keep your skin on an even keel,” while Hydration Agent: Vanilla and Amaranth Moisturizer is intensely hydrating. I must add that both of these moisturizers are powerful skin care products, but are not overpowering to sensitive skin. I applied both constantly and generously throughout my glamping adventure. Truly, The Organic Skin Co. and glamping are the ideal companions.
