The Valley, Anguilla
The Valley, named for obvious reasons, is the capital city and main town of Anguilla. The name Anguilla has origins from the word "eel"; eel is anguille in French and anguila in Spanish. Most likely, the original reference to an eel was due to the Anguilla's long and thin shape.
