Purmamarca, Argentina
The name Purmamarca, Argentina has roots in the Aymara language, and translates to "Town of the Virgin Land". Aymara is an Aymaran language that has been spoken for over 2,000 years, by the Aymara people of the Andes Mountains . As a geographic bonus, Purmamarca is located at the foot of the famed mountain of many colors, Cerro de los Siete Colores, or in Spanish, “Seven Colors Hill.”
