For over thirty years, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania radio personality Andre Gardner has been living his childhood dream of being on the radio. In 1969, this self-proclaimed Beatles freak, started broadcasting live from his childhood bedroom. Today, Andre is a popular Afternoon Drive On-Air Personality on the Philadelphia Classic Rock radio station WMGK, as well as the syndicated radio host of Breakfast with the Beatles with Andre Gardner. During Andre’s stellar radio career, he has interviewed the who’s who of Rock and Roll from Little Steven to Steve Miller to Stevie Nicks and even served as a censor on the Howard Stern Show!

It’s got to be Independence Hall. Think about it…that is the place where our country was born! It’s wonderful to stand in that big room, thinking about our founding fathers drafting the documents that we still hold sacred today.

Seeing a game of one of our professional sports teams.

What is your favorite indoor activity in Philadelphia?
Visiting one of the many fine museums we offer. I'm a geek... I love The Franklin Institute Science Museum.

The sound of the vendors in the Italian market in South Philly right after it opens.

It has to be the taste of delicious German “Buttercake” at the Holmesburg Bakery on Frankford Avenue.
