Anomie Belle: Seattle, Washington
Anomie Belle has quickly earned a name for herself as a respected musician and singer, as well as an award-winning film composer, in Seattle, Washington’s notable indie music scene. Born Toby Campbell, Anomie Belle is foremost a classically trained violinist, whose crafted alias serves to emphasize her beautifully layered and downtempo electronic sound with poignant, socially conscious lyrics. Indeed, since her debut album release of Sleeping Patterns in November 2008, Anomie has charmed audiences and revered musicians alike. Anomie Belle's critical success of Sleeping Patterns, as well as her mesmerizing and powerful live presence, has taken her on tour with popular Swedish artists, Little Dragon, and Academy Award winning film composer, Gustavo Santaolalla's band, Bajofondo.
