Since 2000, The Fallen Stars has been a celebrated Americana Rock band in Orange County, California’s respected club scene. The Fallen Stars is Bobbo Byrnes “taking over guitar and vocal duties, with his wife, Tracy, on bass. This stellar band’s line-up is anchored with the additions of lead guitarist Gregg Braught, drummer Brian Matteson, and keyboardist and mandolin player, Geoff Geib.” Renowned for their live performances, The Fallen Stars was honored as the Best Live Acoustic and Rock Band at the 2009 SoCal Live Music Competition, as well as the Best Live Acoustic Band at the 2008 Orange County Music Awards. To add to their stellar reputation, they were also nominated as the Best Country/Americana Artists at the 2009 and 2010 Orange County Music Awards, with a win in 2009!

Live Music. Fan of the Marlin Bar, great talent at the Sunday night open mic. I really like Doug Schmude, Michael Ubaldini, Billy Kernkamp, American Culture, and Bullhorn.

Margarita. My favorite Margarita is the Mario-Rita at Mario's Restaurant (Main and Beach), two of these drinks and I'm shiny. I avoid the yahoos down on Main Street as far as bars are concerned.
