Jennifer Cody: New York City, New York
Jennifer Cody is an accomplished Broadway actress who is now also an acclaimed Disney star. Cody’s acting career began during college, when she landed the role of Dainty June in a touring production of Gypsy. Then, back in New York (and after being told her 5 foot stature was “too short” for Guys and Dolls), Jennifer made her Broadway debut as Rumpleteazer in Cats. The talented performer not only met her husband, and fellow Broadway actor Hunter Foster, while performing in Cats, but went on to appear in the Broadway productions of Grease as Cha-Cha, Beauty and the Beast, Seussical (opposite Rosie O'Donnell), and the noted Henry and Mudge as Annie, which earned Cody a Drama League Nomination. In 2009, Jennifer starred in Disney’s Academy Award nominated The Princess and the Frog as Charlotte LaBouff. Her delightfully heartfelt and comedic performance, as a turn of the century New Orleans ‘Princess’ with a heart of gold, earned Jennifer an Annie Award for Outstanding Voice Acting in a Feature Production.
