Chillida Leku Museum is an outdoor museum and sculpture park situated on 30 acres of picturesque landscape and adorned with over 40 works by Eduardo Chillida, the noted Basque abstract sculptor.

What is your favorite outdoor activity in San Sebastián? Swimming and sailing. My favorite beach is Zurriola Beach.

Located in San Sebastian’s city center, Zurriola Beach is popular with local surfers, as well as cyclists, skaters and sunbathers.

What is your favorite indoor activity in San Sebastián? Concerts at Kursaal Auditorium.

Overlooking Zurriola Beach, Kursaal Congress Palace and Auditorium is a phenomenal glass structure designed by renowned Spanish architect José Rafael Moneo, and home each September to the largest film festival in Spain, the San Sebastián International Film Festival.

What is your favorite sound or noise in San Sebastián? The waves.

What is your favorite smell or taste in San Sebastián? The ocean.

What drink best reflects San Sebastián? Txakoli, the local white wine.

Txakoli is a “slightly sparkling, very dry white wine produced in the Spanish territories of Basque Country” and is normally served as an aperitif.
