ConciergeQ Conversations with Chantal Westerman invites you to enjoy an “intimate travel portrait" with award-winning filmmaker, Heather Rae.
Heather Rae is the former Director of the Native American Program for the Sundance Institute who nurtured the work of more than fifty emerging Native American screenwriters and filmmakers alike. Best known for producing Frozen River, which earned numerous awards, including the Grand Jury prize at Sundance, and garnered Melissa Leo her first Academy Award nomination, Ms. Rae was honored with the 2008 Independent Spirit Awards Producer of the Year. Having lived in, and being a lover of the great state, Rae is returning home for the Idaho premiere of her acclaimed film, Magic Valley, starring Scott Glenn and Kyle Gallner, at the first Sun Valley Film Festival – March 15th-18th.
